The Ottakringer Brewery is also celebrating the Song Contest on May 16 with a Grand Final Watch Party. First, the final will be broadcast live on a big screen, followed by an aftershow party lasting until 4 am—of course featuring Eurovision hits. The Eurovision Village at Rathausplatz is definitely another top recommendation if you’re looking for a lively public viewing fan zone in Vienna. This official ESC fan area is free to enter with no purchase required and is open daily from Sunday, 10 May to Sunday, 17 May, from 11 a.m. to midnight. Here, both the semi-finals and the grand final are broadcast live – and access to all of it is completely free.

True ESC fans in Vienna already know: Votiv Kino is the place to be for the Song Contest. For years, this cinema has hosted a public viewing, and it’s always quite crowded – you should be there early. Enjoy the contest in a beautiful, spacious cinema hall with popcorn – what more could a fan ask for? Usually, they broadcast the pre-show coverage as well as the entire Eurovision Song Contest grand final in its original version.

At Vindobona at Wallensteinplatz, several public viewing nights are taking place. Not only will the grand final on Saturday be streamed live, but the semi-finals on Tuesday and Thursday can also be watched here.

The Loft in the 16th district on the Gürtel is also an official partner location of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna and is therefore hosting several public viewings—not only for the final, but also for both semi-finals. The shows will be screened in a relaxed setting in the venue’s café, and entry is only possible with a table reservation (for up to four people).

At Hotel Schani near Vienna Central Station, everything turns into the perfect living room for ESC fans. At this public viewing spot in Vienna, you can watch both semi-finals and the grand final together, sing along to the biggest hits and raise a toast to your favourites with ESC-themed drinks.

If you’re feeling creative beforehand, you can join the ArtNight workshops on 14 and 16 May, grab a paintbrush and get into the Eurovision spirit. Afterwards, it’s time to turn on the screen, turn up the volume and celebrate together.

You can also watch the Song Contest at the Altes AKH campus in the 9th district. In cooperation with the Public Broadcaster Radio Wien, all three live shows will be screened on big screens at venues including Freiherz and Salettl am Campus. On top of that, Radio Wien DJs will keep the atmosphere going with the greatest Eurovision hits.

The Gleis//Garten in the 12th district will be broadcasting all three Eurovision Song Contest shows live on a giant screen, starting at 8.15 pm each evening. Admission is generally free. In the “Food Hall,” you’ll find a wide range of culinary treats as well as fresh beer from the venue’s own brewery.

Reservations are only possible for groups of five or more people, and for such larger groups, booking in advance is absolutely necessary.

At Strandbar Hermann, the Eurovision Song Contest is shown with English-language commentary, and the evening kicks off as early as 6 pm. Before the shows (all three live shows will be screened), there’s karaoke and a small musical journey through 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The dress code is “sparkle”, and there will also be a live host on site. Admission is free, and the public viewing takes place in a weatherproof pavilion with a projector.
